I only picked this up to fulfill one of my book challenges, to read a book originally written in another language. I honestly didn't think this book would be for me, but it was fantastic. Definitely a pleasant surprise. I picked up the audio version and the constantly changing POV was a little confusing for a while but eventually I got used to it.
The story was very dark and a little disturbing but it managed to hold my interest all the way through. I really enjoyed the flawed protagonists. They aren't your typical main characters and they were all the more engaging for it. I definitely intend to continue the series.
